Minimum Qualifications

Core Professional Qualifications

♛ Minimum age 18+

♛High school diploma or GED 

♛ 3+ years of childcare experience

♛ Experience caring for multiple children at once (group settings preferred)

♛ Comfortable working events, parties, and fast-paced environments

 

Required Certifications 

♛ Pediatric CPR & First Aid certified

♛ Background check cleared

 

Skills for Event Childcare

♛ Ability to supervise multiple children safely

♛ Strong behavior management & positive discipline skills

♛ Engaging activity planning (games, crafts, story time, quiet time)

♛ Ability to adapt to different age groups (infants–pre-teens)

♛ Conflict resolution & calming techniques

♛ Diapering/toileting assistance

♛ Cleanliness and sanitizing practices

♛ Clear communication with parents & event hosts

♛ Lift up to at least 40 lbs

♛ Active participation in play

♛ Quick response in emergencies
